OUR STORY

What started as a fun mother-daughter adventure has grown into a passion for capturing the places we love through scent. After a few years of creating and selling homemade "slime" at local farmers markets, founder Megan Schweppenheiser knew it was time to create something that reflected her lifelong love of the outdoors. In 2020, Snoqualmie Valley Candle Company was born.

Today, our collections are inspired by America's wild places—from iconic National Parks and mountain towns to campfires, coastlines, and the moments that stay with us long after we've gone home. Each candle is thoughtfully crafted to evoke a sense of place, inviting you to relive your favorite adventures every time you light the wick.

Based in North Bend, Washington, in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, we hand-pour every candle using 100% USA-produced soy wax, all-cotton wicks, and premium fragrance oils that include essential oils and are California Proposition 65 compliant. We thoughtfully choose packaging that is recycled, recyclable, reusable, or compostable whenever possible.

Whether you're exploring a new trail, remembering a favorite vacation, or simply bringing a little of the outdoors into your home, we hope our candles inspire you to pause, reconnect, and celebrate the places that make life memorable.
